+====== Creating offline map cache ======
+This guide should help you build an offline cache to be used with Neongeo. It has been so far tested with Android phone, but if you succeed with other phones, excellent!

+You will need MObile Atlas Creator v1.9 ("mobac") or later for this. To get this, go to [[http://mobac.sourceforge.net]]. Also, you should have at least few gigabytes of free space, my map cache used about 1 gigabyte for Helsinki and surrounding areas.

+Launch mobac and choose OpenStreetMap MapQuest or Google Maps for your map source. You probably will want to use zoom levels 10 to 18. The larger the level, the closer the zoom. The output format type is 'RMaps SQLite'.
+To create your atlas, give them a name in the Atlas Content, choose rectangle, and click 'Add section'. Repeat this until all the regions you want are added. Be aware that downloading HUGE area will take quite a long time, so, at least for first time, limit your area to your habitual caching region. Or alternatively the place you're going for vacation. Do not download entire countries or the world.
+Once done, save the profile under some name and hit 'Create atlas'. This will take quite a while (at least for me), so you can just as well go find some caches while waiting.

+Copy the database to your external sd card on the phone. I recommend Card\Android\data\com.neongeo.app\files\map folder, but feel free to use whatever location you feel best. Once you've done this, open the Neongeo application, choose Settings->Map Servers->Edit mapserver.
+If you used Google Maps, edit the GoogleMaps server, if OpenStreeMaps, edit OpenStreetMaps. Then just tap on the "Offline Map", and locate your file. Click 'ok', and you should be done. Now it uses your offline cache whenever applicable, and online when required and possible.
